Professor Dr. Ralf P. Schenke holds the Chair of Public Law, German, European and International Tax Law at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.
Professor Dr. Ralf P. Schenke holds the Chair of Public Law, German, European and International Tax Law at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.
After studying law in Tübingen, Cologne and Heidelberg, he completed his legal training in Freiburg and New York before completing his PhD and habilitation dissertation at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. He then taught at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg before holding the Chair of Public and Tax Law at Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
Aside from tax law, he is an expert in the field of public security law, the law of New Public Management and Public Private Partnerships, public procurement law and administrative law. He has been involved in research projects regarding the regulation of the collection of traffic data in criminal procedural law, the reform of public health insurance, Europol and intelligent video surveillance.
